All CKDU programmers are invited to the media launch for this year's JazzFest, when the schedule and lineup will be announced. The festivities begin at 10am on Wednesday, June 2nd at 1313 Hollis (JazzFest HQ).
CKDU will be working with JazzEast outreach and communications person, Kasia Morrison (a CKDU ex-pat!) to coordinate recordings and interviews. Let staff know if you are interested in doing any special JazzFest coverage. JazzFest takes place July 9-17 at venues all over the city.

7. TRY YOUR HAND AT MAKING AN SPC CART
We are in a cart-making crisis, people. Please consider chipping in and making one of these SPC carts:
-MEC BikeFest sponsorship cart
-new Island Greek ad using BA Johnston tune ("I love you, Pizzaman")
-Coburg Coffee summertime cart
-new Coast carts
Please grab the scripts from the Volunteer Tasks board, or email erica@ckdu.ca if you can make one of these carts.

8. STAFF HOLIDAYS & NCRC HEADS UP
Tarek (Program Director) and Erica (Station Coordinator) will be away at the National Community Radio Conference from June 3rd to 11th. Try not to miss them too much while they're gone.
Tarek will go on holidays for two weeks after NCRC, back at his desk on June 28th.
David (Spoken Word Coordinator) will be on holidays from June 21-25, back at his desk June 28th.
George (Technical Director) will be on holidays from June 14, back at his desk on June 28th.

9. FIX UP YOUR CKDU.CA PRESENCE!
Hey you! Why not update your show information on the program schedule? We've updated the program schedule on our website, so check it out! Some shows have old outdated information, others have none. You can also make a custom show banner 420px X 100px. Send your show description, host name, contact information (if you want it available), link to a website (if you have one), and a show banner to george@ckdu.ca.
ALSO If you are interested in having your very own server space with ftp access and a sub-domain (yourshow.ckdu.ca) let me know. You can put together your own show website, or even just store old show audio files.

10. STUDENT UNION BUILDING SUMMER HOURS
The Dal SUB summer hours are in effect. The building is open:
Mon-Fri... 7:30am-9pm
Saturday... 11:30am-9pm
Sunday... closed
To gain access to the building, you will need to go to Dalhousie Security in the parking garage off Seymour Street. Present your membership card and ID, and the Security Officer will give you a swipe card and key to access the building from the side door off Seymour Street.
