2. CKDU's Annual General Meeting Wednesday September 8th @ 6:30pm

Be at the Dal Art Gallery at 6:30pm sharp for this VERY IMPORTANT MEETING.. and free food.

On the agenda:

- Renew your membership! ($15 for non-Dal/King's students)
- Elect a new board of directors & programming committee!

- Learn to DRIVE! CKDU's annual Funding Drive is happening October 1-7. Find out what your responsibilities are, and pick up some handy tips, tricks and tools for helping CKDU raise $26,000.

Pledge booklets will also be distributed at this time so we can get an early start on this year's goal with pre pledges!

- Eat delicious food. This year's AGM treats (vegan options included) will be supplied by CKDU sponsors Rani's Curry and Roti.
- Your idea here.

Funding Drive is upon us! Check out the CKDU funding drive website at fundingdrive.ckdu.ca and get excited!!!

The next months are going to get crazy as we all work together to reach our goal of $26,000 for our beloved CKDU.

September 10 -- Garden Party at Seymour Green with Cousins, No Flyers Please, The Caravan, and DJ Zack Shave
September 17-- All ages show @ Sackville Heights Community Centre, presented by CHIN Music
September 18 -- Victors - Dance party, featuring DJ Mindtrip (Big City Beats), DJ Anderoc (Mad Session), and more!
September 23 -- Jokers -- Comedy Night featuring The Bring Back Swayzes (musical comedy troupe!)
September 26 -- Fairlanes Bowling Alley -- Halifax is Bowling! Bands & Bowling, presented by Halifax Is Burning
September 30- 1313 Hollis- All ages show presented by CKDU's Mitch Kelly and Andrew Howie
October 1st – Gus's -- Hoserfest! Local bands cover the CanRock Classics, plus a Maple Syrup drinking contest!
October 1st -- Company House - Third Wave Radio Variety Show
October 2nd -- Reflections -- Rocky Horror Tribute Night
October 3rd – Gus's -- CKDU Variety Show... featuring Wealthy Bear Radio, Bourbon Jungle, and more!
Ocotober 7th -- Paragon cafe -- Establishment cd release & CKDU auction
October 7th- Gus's- Local's Karaoke.... sing along to your favourite local band

4. Student Union Building Fall Hours

As of September 7th the Student Union Building Hours will be:
Mon-Wed 7:30am-11pm
Thu-Fri 7:30am-midnight
Saturday 9am-midnight
Sunday 11:30am-9pm
Holidays: closed

6. 10 years and Still Connected Inside

September 6th marks the 10 year Anniversary of the CKDU program Inner Connections hosted by Terry Choyce, Mondays 4:30-5:30pm
