1. CKALENDUR
CKDU DJs at the Zine Fair, Sat Oct 24, 12pm-5pm, St David's Church Hall

2. SOCAN COMETH...WED, THURS, FRI, SAT SHOWS! (OCT 27-30)
All programmers with a show airing on October 27 - 30 will have to fill out the paper SOCAN logs. Please be sure to fill out all the info! Be extra-sure to fill out the time of day, composer/author, usage and duration! Check the sample log in MCR.
Be extra sure to reach your Canadian content requirements and play your favorite local/Canadian band! They'll get paid!

Background: SOCAN (the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) logs are part of a statistical sampling of music used throughout the country and are used to make an equitable division of SOCAN revenues to writers and publishers of music in Canada and throughout the world.

3. CKDU PROGRAMMERS MEETING: November 8, 7pm
We need to elect a new programming committee! This requires quorum, so please save the date and make your best effort to come. There will be pizza or curry to fill your belly!

4. YOUR (RED) MEMBER CARD EXPIRES OCT 30!
Please contact erica@ckdu.ca or drop on by the station next week to renew your membership and get your new GREEN card. There's a $15 annual fee if you're not a Dal or King's student. It's possible to have your membership fee waived if you don't have the means to pay it. Please don't let $15 keep you away from your community radio station!

5. FUNDING DRIVE INFO UPDATE
Tell your listeners:
-- Thanks for donating!
-- Pay your pledge by December 3 to qualify for the grand prize draw! (VIA RAIL trip for two to Montreal)
-- Tote bags, Friends of CKDU cards, stickers, and magnets are in.
-- T-shirts will be in at the end of the month.
-- The prize room is open! Mon-Fri, noon-5pm
